A talk and invites you to her shoot

"Wow he really does look like a girl," says your stepmom, and you kind of cringe at that. But, before you can say anything Megan speaks up and says, "That is because SHE is a girl."

Your stepmom looks you over once and says, "I am sorry I did not mean to offend you, Ashley, it is just that I am a little bit surprised that is all."

"It is okay, mother, everyone including myself is trying to figure this out," you reply to her with a smile. Your stepmom nods and says, "Thanks, Ashley, I appreciate it and you can call me Chloe."

You are kind of shock even though she is just a few years older than you she had always insisted that you call her mother and because your father was so madly in love with her he had agreed with her. You are kind of shocked by this reversal and that now she wants you to call her Chloe, but you do not say this to her. "Sure, no problem Chloe. But, what are you doing home I thought you were going on that business trip to Asia with Dad?"

She smiles and said, "I was supposed to but they moved one of my finals up so I needed to stay here, and also that means that I can do a shoot tomorrow so we decided that it would be best if I stayed home and I can always teleconference in if he needs me. Speaking of which I was going to invite your sisters but since you are here too I was wondering if you would want to come with me to my shoot tomorrow?"

This really had you taken aback not only was she being nicer and more informal than she has even been with you up until this point, she has now also invited you to one of her shoots. You begged her when you first met her to let you come to one of her shoots, but she had always said it would be creepy if you came along. You reply, "Sure, I don't think I really have anything to do since my volunteer work does not start until Tuesday."

She nods and says, "Great then it can be a family outing, it is always a lot of fun I am sure Nicole and Megan can tell you. Make sure you wear something nice, I am going to go to the gym see you both later."
