"Sorry, but..." Hannah replied as she shook her head, 'no'. "I can't."

"Is that right?" Cain said, sporting a look of disappointment. "That's fine, I suppose. But at least you'd get to work with somebody else," he added, before a small smile arose on his features.

Hannah nodded in agreement before leaving the Killing Grounds.

Returning to Lucifer's Library, Hannah heard Gertrude ask, "Did you find someone to partner up with?"

She shook her head 'no' before Gertrude added, "Well, there is one more dossier you should take care of tomorrow. Besides, I've saved the best for last."

"You mean... Judas? The twins who're working for Marukka?" Hannah asked.

"That's right; now, off you go."

Following her instructions, Hannah left Hell via the mirror.

When she came back into her house, she did the rest of her homework. Once she finished, Hannah heard the phone ring.

She quickly answered it and asked, "Hello?"

"I dedicated a 40-15 match to you at last week's tennis, and this is how you repay me?!"

It was David on the other line, and hanging her head, Hannah let out a drawn-out sigh. "I'm sorry, David..."

"Don't 'I'm sorry, David.' me! I knew you weren't the sort of girl that likes to get out and enjoy all those hidden pleasures!" he retorted.

Poor Hannah had to endure the rest of David's yelling and berating, but eventually hung up on him. And with that, she got changed and fell asleep.
