Tenten's place.

The two of them leave the Tower and into the fresh air, almost separating to return to their homes out of habit. They stop at a nearby tree for shade.

Naruto glances at Tenten, who seems a little off. Nervous? Relieved? Yeah, he anrelate. Tsunade is scary.

"Heh, Tsunade's tiring huh?"

Tenten looks away, "She isn't what I expected. When I first met her... I was jubulous, but now, I don't know. I guess I idolized her."

Naruto laughs, "Idolized? Don't tell me you drink and gamble?"

Tenten scowls at him but says nothing, deciding that further talk on the matter is wasteful. She has something else in mind.

"I wouldn't mind a drink right about now, though," Tenten giggles, looping her arm around Naruto's waist, "Some Sake... at your place?"

"Ahh... are you sure you want to... we could always go to a bar..."

Tenten laughs, "In what? These clothes? I'd look like a slut."

'My slut,' Naruto almost says, be decides against it. It doesn't feel right, like he'd inslut her. Which was crazy since she probably would have tackled him to the ground had he said it.

"Ahh, my place is kina a mess, and... I don't think I have any sake. How far away is your apartment?"

Tenten laughs nervously, "Ahh... apartment? I don't know... I mean... I guess- no! No, we can't go there Naruto."

"Why not?"

"Why not your place?"

He glares at her, "Tenten."

She glares back, "Na-ru-to."

Their faces contort into more gruesome faces as they hovered together.

It's not long before they're lost in a kiss.

Breathing heavily, "C'mon, why not your place?"

Tenten mewls, "I-I can't..."

"Why? You have a roommate or something?"

"..."

"You're kidding, you do?"

"Yeah. It'd be embarassing."

"You'll have to get used to it eventually, Tenten. We... I mean..."

She kisses him, "I know. It's not that. It's just... I don't want to... with her..."

"She doesn't matter."

"Naruto, it's Ino."

"What?"

"It's Yamanaka Ino... she's my roommate. Since we're... ah, friends, it was easier to... get used to living with each other."

"So it's Ino... huh. Sakura's best friend?"

"I dunno. That's always changing," Tenten laughs a little.

"And if we even just showed up there..."

"...Sakura and the whole village would know about us by tomorrow."

Naruto folds his arms after a while in thought, "Well, Ino will know eventually, and she'll tell everyone anyway."

"Naruto, you can't rush headlong into everything."

"Fine, why don't we go see Ino, tell her what's up and ask her not to tell anybody."

"Psh. Yeah. Like that would work."

"It's worth a try Tenten. I'll tell you what... if she's there, I'll talk to her and we'll goto my place, but if she isn't..." he smirks a little, pulling off Tenten's frown.
