Oddball's fate

When Hannah awoke, she found herself not in her own body temporarily, but in someone else's. It was clear she was going to experience the **** of this soul.

Raymond had just finished stretching his muscles after a brief workout when he heard the door to his room knocking. As the door opened, there was a nurse standing there.

"Mr. Raystack, you have a few visitors," she told him.

He nodded obediently before exiting the room and following the nurse. As he went downstairs to the second, and then the first floor, he heard 'Don't Dream It's Over' playing on the speakers while the other patients were... peachy, perhaps.

The nurse then brought him to the visitors' area, and standing near a fairly large table were two familiar faces: his fiancee Alexis and a protégé of his, Rodney. The latter had been working diligently under Raymond's thumb so that he'd follow in his footsteps.

"Raymond," he spoke, "My colleagues and I found ourselves a breakthrough concerning those 'Oddball' murders: a man in his late twenties to early thirties, red hair, blue eyes, tall, medium build. And I think that man is you."

Raymond closed his eyes as he sighed. "I guess you've got me," he said.

"But there is a silver lining: if you're more than happy to admit your crimes, things might go your way at your trial. Even if it means either spending another year in the asylum or even years in jail." Rodney said.

"You'd even have an attorney to back you up too," he added.

Raymond nodded before Alexis spoke up. "Raymond," she said as she looked down at the engagement ring on her hand.

"I never knew you'd be behind these killings until now." It didn't take long for her to stand up and slide the ring off her finger.

This prompted his eyes to widen as he saw his now ex-fiancee take it off and ask, "Why...?"

"Why?" she replied. "Because I would never marry a psychopath."

He was silent at first, but something soon figuratively hit him. Closing his eyes for a moment, he'd then open them, as his 'normal' persona gave way to his 'Oddball' persona.

"Heh... heh heh heh," he chuckled before he stood up and put his hands on the chair he was once sitting in.

Just as he raised it towards Alexis and Rodney, the former screamed, "Raymond! What are you doing?!"

"Oh, no, no, no. I'm not Raymond. I'm the Oddball that Rodney's been so looking for," he told her before turning his attention to Rodney. "Isn't that right?"

Quickly, Rodney pulled out his pistol and aimed it right at him. "Don't come any closer, or else I'll... I'll..." he said before trailing off out of fear.

"Try to kill me, Rodney! Do it, you son of a bitch!" Raymond encouraged him with a cruel grin.

Feeling his teeth chatter, Rodney watched as he was about to throw the chair right at him. Then came the sound of a gunshot.

Dropping the object out of his hands, Raymond touched at his forehead, which now possessed a bullet hole, with blood seeping out. Before long, he slumped to the ground and was now hearing not only the screams of his ex-fiancee but also his own internal laughter.

Everything went black again, and this time, Hannah had returned to her physical body. She got up but also discovered that she had an axe in her hands.

Finally, standing before her was Oddball, sporting a very sadistic expression on his face as he stared her down.
