Well....

Naruto was lost, even taken aback a bit by what Gaara had said. "Look Gaara, I like your sister, really, but marriage? I think that goes a little too far, considering I've never gone out with her.", Naruto responded.

"Hmm, I see.", Gaara said.

"Besides, doesn't she like Shikamaru?", Naruto asked as he began to pack his stand up for the night.

"No, she doesn't anymore. That loser broke her heart... but girls are strange. Now all she ever talks about is you.", Gaara answered.

"Why me?", Naruto asked, more confused then before.

"Though you may not be smart, you are strong and determined to get things done.", Gaara answered.

Before Naruto could respond, Temari and Kankuro came back. "See, I told you he would still be here.", Temari said as they came to retrieve Gaara. As Kankuro and Gaara headed home, Temari stayed back with Naruto and asked "So, you gonna be here tomorrow?".

"Yeah, I'm here for the entire festival, though I think I'll just check it out tomorrow.", Naruto answered, knowing that his Ramen wouldn't be so successful.

"Well then, you want me to show you what we have to offer then?", Temari asked.

Although it came a bit out of the blue, Naruto didn't think about it for too long. "Sure.", he answered with his trademark grin

"Good! Then it's a date.". With that Temari gave him a kiss on the cheek and left leaving him completely confused.
