The strongest female ninja of this time hails from the Leaf country: The legendary sucker Tsunade, a sannin.

Her students are Shizune, Haruno Sakura and Yamanaka Ino.

Other ninjas from the Leaf village are Hyuuga Hinata, Tenten, Yuuhi Kurenai and Mitarashi Anko.

From the Sand village, Temari is the most (in-)famous Kunoichi.

Karin, a companion of Sasuke, is also worth mentioning.

And from the feared Akatsuki organization, Konan is also a prime example of a fearsome Kunoichi.
