Ray interrupts and orders for you

You open your mouth to start to order, but Raymond cuts you off.

“I’ll have a club soda and lime, and the lady here will have a Cosmopolitan.”

You cringed. “Honey,” you said, trying to butter Raymond up, “I don’t think...”

“I know you don’t, Jane. But that’s not why I date you,” he said with a wink to the bartender.

“I don’t really like cosmopolitans,” you said, not even knowing what was in one.

“Well, it’s your new favorite drink, OK?” He said. “Besides, we’re celebrating tonight.” The bartender returned with your drinks, handing them to both of you. Raymond raised his glass in a toast.

“We are? Celebrating what?” You asked, slightly raising your glass to his, dreading the answer.

“The start of our relationship. I’ve decided, we’re officially dating now. You should kiss me, don’t you think?”

A soft “ping” cane from within your purse, causing your mouth to open in shock. Raymond took that as a signal and lifted your chin, his lips and open mouth approaching yours.
