You hear a male's voice from Chronoa's room

After waking up in an empty room you start to stroll your castle, simply because there was nothing better to do. You see Kale, Caulifla and the Kamikaze fireballs sparring outside, but other than that you found nothing of interest. You thought about joining them, or going back to bed. As you were making your decision you walked by Chronoa's room, a raspy, clearly male voice could be heard.

You knock gently on the door and wait. Chronoa opens the door with a smile on her face. "Hey~, lord John! Good morning!" She says with real enthusiasm.

You grunt in response and then gesture to the man. "Who's he?" You ask, looking at the man who stands overshadowing a table. He has purple hair that goes down to his ears and parts in the center, a few loose strands stay. He dons a black trenchcoat with a fur lined collar, a sword strapped to his back.

The man turns from the table, finally reacting to you. He jolts before bowing and introducing himself nervously. "My name is Trunks."

"Right..." You turn back to Chronoa. "How'd he get here?"

"I brought him here."

"Why?"

"He's in charge of the entire Time Patrol, he's like my partner in correcting time."

"I see." You walk to the table. "So if he is here that means that there is a disturbance in time?"

"Y-yes." Trunks starts. "Something about it is strange though."

"That's right." Chronoa chimes in. "Normally we would be able to view the alteration in time through a time scroll, but this time, there is no time scroll."

"So how do you know there is a problem?"

"That's the thing. There is no time scroll, but instead I can see them as if they are dreams... I theorise that since Universe 6 and 7 were combined into one universe the different timelines of the two universes collided and caused some kind of disturbance."

"What does that mean?" Trunks asks your question for you.

"It means there is no time scroll because there is no disturbance in a timeline, or creation of a new timeline... Instead what I see is that some things from Universe 7's timeline is being pushed forward through time to match up with Universe 6's timeline. Things from Universe 6 are starting to go backwards also."

"That sounds like a struggle for your mortal Time Patrol." You laugh.

"Not just them, me too."

"Don't worry about it too much, I'm sure things will equalize." You shrug. "I don't know anything about time though, so I suppose just try your best for now." You start walking away. "Don't stress it."

You open the door between a wave of lust and curiosity hit you at the same time. "What exactly is being pushed forward?"

Trunks clears his throat. "It seems that the only things that are being sent forward are ancient and pre-extinction saiyans."

"Interesting, if they are anything like the saiyans I've encountered I might have to pay them a visit."

"Not without a group of Time Patroller's you don't!" Chronoa asserts. "We can't have any unnecessary changes!"
