Link struggles with his new body, and he gets caught anyway.

The longer Link rode towards the Gerudo Fortress, the longer he thought that this entire debacle was an enormous mistake. Namely, that he'd screwed up his chance with a free wish. His transformed body felt weird and awkward, and he kept finding things hidden in pouches inside the Sheikah outfit. Some kind of powder? A lockpick set? More knives than he could count? That was all well and good, but he had no idea what did what and why, so it left him feeling weirdly overencumbered, even for someone used to carrying around a lot of stuff.

As usual, Epona managed the great leap across the broken bridge into Gerudo territory easily, and Link went out of his way to go around Mutoh, not wanting to have to explain his new appearance to the grumpy carpenter. Soon, he was on the outskirts of the fortress, looking in to try and get a gameplan going. In his previous attempts, he'd tried a bunch of stuff, but he hoped this new body would make things easier, even if he was skeptical as to how well that would work.

He decided to start the same way he had last time, by going as far away from Gerudo watchwomen as possible, and sneak into a room. From there, he'd have to wing it. He watched their patrols, and when no one was looking at the area from where he was hiding, near a rocky outcropping, to the nearest entrance, Link dashed as fast as he could, which seemed to be quite a bit faster than he had been beforehand. He made it inside, wiped some sweat off his brow, and took a breather. Turning to face the doorway, back out into the bright desert sunlight, he smiled, for a second believing that maybe this time, he'd pull this off. Sadly, since he didn't actually have the keen sense of his surroundings an actual Sheikah would possess, Link completely missed as a Gerudo guard snuck up behind him and knocked him out with her staff.
