What are you going to do next?
Stick to the path, go to her office.
It’s hard, but you manage to get your mind more centered on your own priorities, over those of Mrs. Rashley. Pulling yourself away from Adam, you try to look disappointed and tell him, “I’d love to, but I’m on my way out. There’s a last minute staff meeting I need to attend.” For a second, you’re worried your excuse wouldn’t fly.
But such fears turn out to be unfounded, as Adam looks at you with no suspicion or paranoia, only love. “Okay, honey. Maybe tonight then.” For a moment, you want to roll your eyes. As if sex with Adam is ever really rewarding for me. Once again, a thought that isn’t really yours slides through your mind without your permission.
Trying to ignore that, you grab Mrs. Rashley’s keyes and purse and leave the home. The drive from her place to school is one you’re able to do without thinking, clearly due to years of muscle memory on her part. In no time at all, you’re at her office, ready to ‘fix’ the records. Why am I doing this? Students need to work hard to succeed. Annoyed, you remind yourself you’re doing this for your own benefit, because the you currently in here is the one getting the better grades.
But after changing the physical records in your favor, a new problem occurs to you. Sure, you’ve got the better grades now...but when you switch back, what’s to stop the teacher from changing them back to how they were before? Would she remember having altered them to begin with? Maybe...you consider something...maybe you need to give her a reason she’d believe she would have the grades actually be changed.
You rack your brain, trying to think of a plausible reason for the hardass hottie teacher to take it easy on you, when it comes to you: I have raised grades for students who, ahem, ‘do strong extracurricular work’ with me personally. Okay, you admit, that would probably work...but do you want the grades changed so badly, you’re willing to boink your own body?
