I guess a drink wouldn't hurt...

"Hey! Look who it is!", came a voice, breaking through the general murmur of the room. Katie looked over to see Dustin, one of the guys who worked in her office come over with a plastic cup in each hand and his tie wrapped around his forehead at a jaunty angle.

"Ha ha! Dustin, you're hilarious!" she said reaching up to adjust his tie to an even more ridiculous angle. Dustin had been a huge help so far in Katie settling in to the office and getting used to everything. He was always so friendly to her, and was always putting his arm around her shoulder, or the small of her back to guide her around to where she needed to go! Katie knew that gentle guidance like that was a sign of a good friend, and she really appreciated it!

"Well, that is true", Dustin replied, making a goofy face. "Here, I got you a drink.", he said thrusting one of the plastic cups into her hand.

"Oh, gosh, I don't know, Dustin", Katie said as she wrinkled her nose at the cup. "I've never really had **** before. Plus, I'm too young to drink."

Dustin laughed, good-naturedly. "Don't worry about it. No one here is going to tell on you. It's a party, you might as well have some fun, right?" He flashed a wide grin at her. "Besides, it's really good! I bet you'll love it!"

Katie looked at the drink skeptically, and took a sniff. It had a delightful fruity smell to it. "Ok, I suppose I could try it."

She took a small sip. "Yum!", she said, her eyes lighting up.
