A few minutes later The Boy Wonder and the Naked Batgirl arrive at the apartment of Barbara Gordon safely, entering it through the window. “I think I can stand now” Barbara tells Dick once they are in the apartment. Gently Dick sets Barbara down, letting Barbara attempt to stand and walk on her own. For a moment it appears that she’s is able to stand, but when she tries to take a step she’s starts to stumble. She almost falls and hits the floor, dropping the cape that was covering her, but Dick catches her.

“Ok, I need help” Barbara says.

“Are we going to talk about how this happened now?” Dick asks, walking Barbara to her bed and setting her down on it. Barbara removes her mask, all she has left of her suit and gear, and tosses it away, “it’s a long story” she says simply, covering her breasts with her arm. “I’ve got time” Dick replies, doing his absolute best to not stare, instead he hands her his cape again. Barbara shakes her head, “what’s the use now? Everyone in joker’s gang has seen me naked, why shouldn’t you?” Dick sighs, “suit yourself. I’m serious though. What happened?”

Barbara explains the whole story to Dick, recounting the chase with Catwoman, the nudist club, and then ultimately ending up where he had found her. “That sounds horrible” Dick says when she finishes, now sitting beside her on the bed with his mask off, “I wish I had come sooner.” Moving her arm from her breasts, Barbara puts a comforting hand on his shoulder, “I’ll live” she tells him, “let’s just be glad it didn’t get any worse.”

Dick looks at her breasts and then quickly looks away, ashamed. “I’m sorry I—“ Barbara turns his face back toward hers with her hand, “It’s ok Dick, it’s not your fault!” Dick shakes his head, “that’s not why I was—“ he shuts up when Barbara suddenly kisses him. “Babs...what are you doing?” he asks her, a confused look on his face. “Thanking you for saving me” she then starts to kiss him again, except this time he start to kiss her back. . .
