You sit through the meeting

You say there, stunned. This creepy guy thought that you... and he was.... no. Just.... no.

Your mind drifted, concerned with how the universe seemed to be conspiring against you. You couldn't believe how far things had gone when Lisa's voice snapped you back to reality.

"Jane? I asked if you understood this," Lisa said, smiling and holding a stack of papers. Most of the pages were folded back, and there was a Post-it flag with a yellow arrow and the words "Sign Here" pointing to line at the bottom of the page.

You looked at the document, then up at Lisa, then down at the paper.

Crap. You were expected to sign something. And it looked legal.

"Jane? Is there a problem with what we've gone over?" Lisa asked, concern rising in her voice.

You looked back down at the page. You weren't sure what you'd be agreeing to. If you were going to have a way out of this mess, this was a golden opportunity. On the other, that may cause issues. If you signed it as Jane, it couldn't be legally binding, could it? So did you sign it, get through the day, and never come back, or just use this as an excuse to get out of here?
