It didn’t take long to pack, it never seemed to.

Vixxen cried and said yes. She cried and hugged him as she yelled yes.

"How long do you need Vixxen," Mason asked. "I can wait a couple of days to go home if it means you staying with me, I do not want to leave you ever again."

"I don't know Mason, we might be able to work it out today," Vixxen answered. "I don't have much, most of what I do have is in the bank. I don't even own a car."

Vixxen had been successful at work, but had spent a lot of money in Vegas. For all of the money she had worked, she had around $50,000 in the bank and a few thousand in cash. She had taken up gambling, but had never really won. She knew she wasn't putting enough money away, but after all that had happened she was living in the moment.

All that she had left at Sapphire's house had been taken as evidence, leaving only her bank account and a couple of bags of clothing to pack.

Vixxen showed Mason Alan's house, and introduced them. Alan was genuinely happy for Vixxen, and wished them well. Mason was a little concerned at the house she was staying in, and the arrangements between her and her boss. However Vixxen explained what happened and it made sense.

"I work at a strip club he owns, we have been hooking up for as long as I lived here.”

Mason looked at the older man walking away from them, and not with a kind gaze.

“There was no emotion between us Mason, it was just sex, and it was only him." Vixxen told him.

Mason didn't like it, but he knew he had no right to care, not even knowing her at the time. And the old man seemed legitimately happy to see her leaving with Mason.

She packed what little she had, and off they went.
