Chapter 21 by vanillathunder vanillathunder

Where is the next stop? The makeup counter perhaps?

The makeup counter

A little bothered by bullet bra and girdle, that was the least of your problems as Carol had insisted that you wear a dark blue, fitted pencil-dress with white polka dots adorning it, with matching heels, which with the new additions, filled it out much better than you would have liked.

Being unable to remove the bra and girdle, and Carol insisting that you continued wearing it when you asked her to unhook it, you decided to just bide your time until you got home.

In the chaos, you didn't notice the the purse, which you had handed to Carol before going into the changing room, was still in her possession, and she expertly led you straight to the makeup counter. The employee smiled at the two of you as you approached.

"Carol! Nice to see you again! Just got a shipment of your favorite color in." the employee greeted. "And who's your new friend?"

"This is Erica, she's renting out Marie's house while she's on her trip. I'm showing her around the city." Carol said.

"Nice to meet you, Erica. I'm Shirley." Shirley said. "Take a seat."

"I don't think I..." you started.

"Nonsense, Shirley's a genius. You'll be fighting men off with a stick when she's done with you." Carol insisted. "I'm going to go handle this. You let Shirley do her magic."

Carol walked away with all the clothes in tow, while Shirley began digging behind her counter for supplies. You were at a crossroads, on the one hand, you could stay, endure yet another makeover and hope that you go to the house after this, or you could sneak away and try to hitchhike back there, leaving Carol behind.

Do you accept the makeover? Or do you try to leave?
