Melissa rescues Kylie

Melissa walked by the living room on her way to the kitchen and did a double take, seeing her mother working with Kylie, who was looking great! She even had her party shoes on!

Her mom was teaching Kylie the finer points of walking in heels. And as much as Kylie had improved, Melissa didn’t want her to turn into one of mom’s projects.

“Mom!” She interrupted. “We’ve been waiting on Kylie! She’s not one of your students!”

Theresa smiled. “Not yet, but perhaps she will be. Have you ever thought about attending a finishing school, Kylie? We could polish all the rough edges off of you while preparing you to face the world!”

“Um... “ Kyle searched for something to say. “I’m only here for the summer, remember? And I’m not sure my family could afford something like that anyway.”

“We do offer scholarships! Tell you what, I’ll just get you some brochures, an application, and some financial aid forms, just in case you decide otherwise, dear. No pressure, but at least you’ll have them!

“And remember, shoulders straight, chin up, chest out! Exude confidence!”

Melissa grabbed Kylie’s arm. “C’mon, we have tanning to do.” She led him out into the backyard.

Theresa’s little class did a good job of helping Kyle walk in those heels. He strutted over to where the girls were and assumed his sunbathing position. The girls were pouring over fashion magazines: Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Allure. Kyle was quickly drawn into reading the magazines. Of course his phone buzzed when the girls said he should read these regularly, as much for the sex tips as for fashion and beauty advice.

Kyle glanced over to see the boys back playing their video games. His anger rose when he saw Sam in there with them. He stood up. “Excuse me, ladies, but I have to go talk to my brother for a second.”

“Hurry back!” Darla said. “We’ll wait to take this month’s Cosmo Quiz with you”

Kyle strode on his heels into the game room, and the boys looked up and stared. To them, this back lit blonde goddess had entered their room. They forgot about the game for a second, with their characters dying horrible deaths.

“Sam?” Kyle said in a sweet but angry tone.

Sam peeked our from behind Eli, as he was seated in the couch away from Kylie. He knew he was in trouble with his feminized brother, but he had other things he was concerned about now.

“Before you get mad, let me.... introduce you to someone. Kylie, this is Eli’s cousin, Kim”.

Kim was seated at the far end of the couch, hidden behind the mass of boys. She was a girly, skater chick type. Ripped tights, dark lipstick, short spiky hair. But she was cute, not Kyle’s type, but cute. And then Kyle understood. Sam liked her.

Kyle cocked a hip, crossed his arms over his pushed up chest and said, “Sam, a word?”

Kim snorted. “Easy princess. Don’t get your panties in a wad. Sam can talk to you once we finish playing.”

Kyle already didn’t like her.

“Don’t princess me,” Kyle snapped. “I need to talk to my brother. NOW.”

“Unclench, bitch!” Kim started.

Eli stood up. “Ladies! Kylie, I’ll bring Sam out when he’s done with his turn. Kim, be nice to Kylie!”

“Whatever,” Kim mumbled.

Frustrated, Kyle clenched his fists at his side and stomped a foot, something he realized was very feminine. He spun and stormed off, gracefully back to the girls.

“I see you’ve met Eli’s cousin,” Melissa said.

Kyle sat down on his towel, hugging his knees to his chest. “It’s not just me, is it? She’s...”

“Mean?” Darla offered.

“Angry,” Melissa said.

“Unfashionable,” Robin added with a laugh.

Eli slipped out of the sliding door of the game room and walked sheepishly over.

“I’m sorry about that Kylie,” he said. “She likes to make sure she’s noticed when meeting a pretty girl.”

Kyke’s head shot up, his eyes wide. Pretty?

“Look, how about I make it up to you? Let me...”
