The ramen is good

Five bowl later, and after you have confirmed with proprietress, whose name is Maria, that you're staying at the inn, you finally look around. There's a man with greying hairline who you assume is Maria's husband, a cute woman with a ponytail who is serving the customers in the inn's dinner and a scantily clad woman playing a samisen, a stringed instrument, while singing a local folk song.

"Here's a free bowl, on the house," Maria says as she put down the said freebie.

"The woman's singing is quite good, isn't it?"

"Honami? She's our resident entertainer."

"Entertainer?" you ask while raising your eyebrows. This Honami doesn't seem to be a simple singer.

"She performs for us for during dinner time, and in return we provide a free room and meals for her. Whatever she does before and after that, and with whoever is up to her." Maria gestures to the serving girl. "We have a similar arrangement with Jun though she's working during breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm the one in charge of cooking and manning the counter although my husband is helping and the two men we hire prepare the ingredients and cleaning."

"Oh I see."

"Are you interested in propositioning Honami or Jun? I can help to negotiate."
