Chiaki stumbles onto an event

As Chiaki ran down the beach, she saw a crowd of people gathered around a stage with an announcer on stage. Chiaki was curious what it was about so she walked to the crowd in front of the stage. As she walked to the stage, she noticed several other people at the beach either looking at her strangely or cheering her with some even taking pictures of her. Chiaki really didn't understand why.

'Maybe they recognise me.' She was a Hope's Peak student and this is a public beach, she was bound to be recognised, although the people who saw her might have been more surprised at how bold she seemed to be acting. 'It is a little embarrassing to be recognised like this...' Chiaki thought as a small blush came across her face.

As Chiaki made her way to the crowd she noticed that everyone's attention was glued to the announcer as he pulled out a handheld games console.

"And we have a limited edition Game Girl Advance™ with a signature from legendary games developer Kazutaka Kodaka!" Chiaki's eyes shone like the Sun once she heard what the man was holding. How could such a legendary item be here without her knowledge?

"Alright, I'm going to throw it into the crowd, first one who catches it gets it for free!" Everyone in the crowd threw their hands in the air waiting to catch it. Chiaki couldn't believe it, had her luck gone from terrible to amazing? She might get such a rare item just for free and she just had to catch it. Chiaki mimicked the crowd and lifted her hands in the air while jumping to give her the height she needs to make the potential catch, leaving her body completely exposed, not that anyone had noticed so far.

'Please throw it to me, please throw it to me.' Chiaki didn't want anything more than that handheld right now.
