"I want to bring you home to meet Vincent," Gloria says. "When he saw your picture...He's very attracted to you."

"Okay," you say. When Gloria doesn't respond, you repeat, "Okay, right? Goddamn, take me home and have your way with me, Nurse Bates. And your husband too. Yes. You know, my biggest turn-on? "I can follow you and Jen home to your place," Gloria says. "Or we can put Jen's car in my parking space and we can drop her off, and pick her up tomorrow."

"Okay," you say. "I'll get the backup change of clothes from my locker. Do you have extra toothbrushes?"

"Yes," Gloria says. "We have everything you'll need as a guest."

"Gloria?" you say. "Thank you for telling me. I'm...I'm really happy. You know?"

You and Gloria end up in a sitting hug on the couch, your head resting on her shoulder, holding each other . You feel her pulse beating quick and strong in her neck. She wants you. She wants you bad.

"Are you and Jen really on the buddy system?" Gloria asks. "For tonight?"

"I guess I better ask her," you say, "I mean, if she's still awake. If she's asleep, maybe we better let her crash here."

"Meet me in my office?" Gloria says. "I have to call Vincent. Kelly?"

You pause, looking over your shoulder.

"I'm really happy too," Gloria says.

"I'll hurry back!" you say.
