Troy steps aside to make a call

Troy noticed Carrie’s sudden insecurity and doubt in you. He needed just one more push. If he could show Carrie that you were unfaithful, that push could tip your girlfriend over the edge. It could drive her away from you, and into his arms (and onto his dick, but anyways).

With that in mind, Troy excused himself and stepped aside to make a call.

“Hey, Bruce! I need your help? Do you remember that loser we bullied in college... I have to be more specific? Good point. Well, it’s the loser who you sound like... yeah, yeah, that’s the one. What I need you to do is......”

At the same time, the conflict within Carrie only grew stronger. Again, blindly trusting your ex-bully wasn’t rational, but people didn’t always make rational decisions. Carrie’s doubt spiraled out of control, rendering her unable to think clearly, as all she could think about was if her fears were realizing themselves.

Troy soon returned to the table, and struck up a conversation. As they talked, Carrie’s sense of unease lightened, though the doubt still lingered.

After a while, Troy received a call. As Carrie watched, Troy’s face seemed to turn from surprise, to shock, then to anger. What was going on? She didn’t want to interrupt, in case this was actually an important call. Troy turned to her sadly before passing her the phone for her to listen.
