An armband? Not something Raven would wear, is it?

Raven studied the object, not sure what it was, exactly. It was in the possession of a villain they had taken down, real pantywaist. Didn't have time to even react to them. Raven sensed something odd about it and requested that after the police had examined it, it be shipped to the tower for her to inspect herself. Raven felt the magic inside it, but wasn't sure of the nature. From what her eyes saw, it was a golden armband. Along the sides were jewels. Gemstones, actually. Emerald, ruby, sapphire, topaz, ...um...whatever the purple stones were called (the name escaped her at the moment, damn brain farts), and diamond. Three on each side. The gems in particular held her interest...they seemed almost...mesmerizing. A sudden knock startled her. She went to the door.

"Who is it?" Raven asked, trying to slow her heart back down. Cyborg's deep voice answered her. "Hey, Raven. Dinner's here. We're having Chinese." "Don't eat my chicken fried rice." Raven warned before shaking her head and returning to look at the...what the..? Where'd the armband go? Raven felt a squeeze on her right arm. With a feeling of dread, she looked at her arm. It had latched onto her when she jumped! Raven turned it over, looking for a way to remove it. She saw none. It had pretty much bonded itself to her! Tugging on her sleeve showed that it had managed to burrow through her sleeve and onto her skin as it rolled up without a problem.

"Stay calm," Raven thought, "It has to come off somehow." The gemstones began to glow. Uh oh.
