Dream Raider

Jordan is about to turn 25. They live a fairly average life, work a fairly standard job, and have never taken a big risk in their entire life. Living alone in a one bedroom apartment doesn’t exactly put one in a situation where they are presented with big risks, but that’s how Jordan liked it. If there were no big risks, there could be no big mistakes.

It’s all pretty standard, really. When you grow up in a low income household and abusive parents, you get used to the mundane. A standard life was good, because it was better than what you had before.

A standard life doesn’t have to be entirely boring, though. Tomorrow is Jordan’s 25th birthday, and to celebrate they are returning to their home town for a week. This vacation will be spent seeing family that Jordan is still on good terms with, and old friends. A standard vacation. Should be moderately enjoyable.

Of course, Jordan does not yet know that they are about to gain a super power. They have no idea that their life will change forever, and that they are about to fulfill fantasies that could only be possible in dreams. They have not even the slightest indication that something non-standard will happen to them.

If they did, they would probably cancel the trip.
