A pillory

As Jane enters the room she sees it is an empty space lit by the same LED lights as the other parts of the prison.

The only object standing in the room was a wooden pillory (looking much like the door like it had come straight out of medieval times) on a slightly raised platform in the center of the room.

Before Jane had time to move into the room a hand pushed her through and a swift click meant the door behind her had locked.

Jane just stood there for a minute waiting for someone to enter from the darkened edges of the room or for something to happen.

This silence persisted until a robotic voice boomed over a speaker "Slut prison 'New Meat', please restrain yourself inside the device to begin the orientation, failure to comply will result in punishment."

Jane hearing this announcement remained still for one moment before moving toward the pillory and lifting up the heavy wooden bar and placing her arms and head into the restraints seemingly spurred on by the female Guard's thinly-veiled threats of ****.

As soon as her limbs were placed inside, the bar lowered and locked magnetically securing Jane in place and only allowing for minimal movement. This was quickly followed by cuffs rising from the floor and attaching to Jane's ankles almost completely restraining Jane.

The cold metal cuffs caused Jane to bite her upper lip out of shock and attempt to squirm out of the restraints.

" 'New Meat' a short orientation video will now play, this will be followed a full list of crimes and your accompanying sentences, it must be stated now that you no longer have rights as such do not have a right to appeal or a right to an attorney. Any insistence to the contrary will be met with Severe Punishment" The robotic voice chimed in "Now pay attention to this video, failure to comply will be met with punishment"

At this spiel, Jane could be seen to be uncomfortable again with the assertion that she no longer had rights and also confusion at the mention of her supposed crimes. But she hardly had time to react as in front of her a video was now playing.

"Hello there, slut and welcome to your prison life" started a young man that Jane faintly recognizes is a prominent politician known for his clean image so his initial vulgar language shocks her "This orientation will tell you the basics of the prison system and how you a worthless whore can finally be of use to society..."
