A cryptic message

"What was so funny up there?"

Keres snickered and looked at Amy.

"You'll find out." She said with a mischevious wink after wiping a tear away. Amy and the gang thought nothing of it, presuming Keres laughed to tears. Gene was still slightly in shock from what had just transpired and still sucked at his poker face. He was clearly distracted. Gene came to the near end of the bar and rested his elbows on the countertop, clasping his hands together almost like a prayer, resting his nose on it, saying nothing. His mind was still racing.

The atmosphere turned incredibly serious quickly. As the girls suddenly became concerned. Shea had already left, sore from her fight with Keres. Keres sat back down into her previous seat next to Leokadia. She ignored her look of concerned and immediately pulled out her phone.

"Just letting you guys know, I have to do this." Keres stated, with a touch of emotion in her voice. Amy and Leokadia looked at Keres quizically, still somewhat concerned. After about a quiet, tense minute, Keres put down her phone, and looked at the Royal couple.

"Y'all are gonna love me for this. Just... Ah..." Keres hesitated. "Just give it... Ehhh... About fifty thousand years or so. When something big is born, you'll know." Her incredibly cryptic message sent chills down the gang's spines. Leokadia was rather confused.

"See y'all tomorow, babes." Keres left and headed home without further ado. Just as the doors slid closed behind her, Amy's and Gene's phones beeped at the same time. Only Amy pulled it out and looked at it.

"New Job Application: Keres van Golden
Applying For: Plutonian Intelligence Agency"

Amy raised her eyebrow, and showed her phone screen to Gene, who nodded in response. Leokadia asked to see it too, so Amy showed her phone notiification to her as well.

"Dammit, Keres." Leokadia rushed out to chase after her cousin. They were not seen again for the rest of the night.
