The alarm clock beeped insistently, and a small hand wriggled out from beneath the sheets to bat at it.
"Shut the fuck upppppp," came the hoarse voice from somewhere in the mess of duvet and blanket. The hand found the snooze button and retracted, an audible sigh of contentment coming from within the den of comfort.
The alarm beeped again. Had it really already been fifteen minutes? With a heavy sigh, Maisie Williams tossed the covers off herself and sat up, her hair a mess, and reached for her clock.
Bleary-eyed, she stared vacantly at the alarm clock in her hands, wondering when she'd gotten home. From how exhausted she felt, it couldn't have been more than a few hours ago. What had she even gotten up to last night? If she strained, she could almost remember a pounding bass, one she could feel right in her chest. But where the fuck had that been?
Either way, it was a problem for Later Maisie. Present Maisie had more pressing concerns, like dealing with this looming hangover, either with food or with sleep.
She couldn't decide which was more preferable at the moment.
Stay in bed, or get up?
