Time to learn how to land

You start the next morning with a nice relaxing shower. You simply can’t get enough of the hot water. By the time you are ready to get out your lekku and fingertips are all wrinkled. Once dressed you head off to the lounge for your breakfast. Like yesterday, Marash is already there. The both of you engage in some small talk and like usual you notice his eyes finding their way to your boobs. Though this time he will not find any nipples to admire.

Before heading off to the cockpit, Marash gives you a datapad with your next lesson. This one is on landing and launching. Wait, you aren’t supposed to reach your destination for another couple of days. You won’t be able to get any practical experience. Oh well, probably a good idea to study the theory on it in advance.

You remain in the lounge while you study the new techniques and in about an hour Seva shows up. Her clothes lack the dirt and grime from yesterday and her goggles have been cleaned.
“Mmm, morning.” Seva groans.
“Oh, good morning. Can I get you some food?” You offer.
“Please do.” Seva says and plops down on a chair.
Looks like the Mirialan is not a morning person. It is only during her breakfast that Seva starts to properly wake up and become interested in having a conversation.
“So, what do you think about the ship?” Seva asks.
“Oh, it’s wonderful.” You say. “I never could have imagined to life in such luxury.”
“Luxury?” Seva snickers. “Oh, that’s right. I forgot for a moment you grew up as a ****.”
“You mean you don’t consider this luxurious?” You ask.
“I’ve been to a good couple of planets already.” Seva says. “Not all of them are super luxurious, but a few of them, wow. I mean, coruscant alone has some of the finest luxury.”

After some more small talk Seva suddenly asks, “Hey, Marash hasn’t been giving you too much trouble, has he?”
“Trouble?” You ask.
“Yeah, that guy has a thing for big boobs.” Seva says. “I mean, I get the appeal of them and I don’t really mind guys checking out mine every once in a while. As long as it’s just every once in a while and not all the time.”
“Yeah, I’ve noticed.” You say. “But it’s fine. Like you say, as long as it’s just looking.”
Seva looks disappointedly at you. “Life of a ****, huh. You must’ve been ogled so much you’ve gotten used to it. Anyways, if Marash is doing it too much, you tell him to stop, alright? And if he doesn’t, you come to me. I’ll set him straight.”
“Thanks, I will.” You say gratefully. “If you ever need help with something, you can ask me too.”

After the chat with Seva, you go back to studying. Once you think you’ve understood everything you head to the cockpit where Marash is. You tell Marash about your progress and say you are eager to try what you’ve learned.
“Sorry, Seela. We don’t have any landing spaces nearby.” Marash says. “But we are heading to one. Well, sort of. You’ll just have to wait a bit. Try going over the info of the previous lessons again to pass the time.”

You do as your teacher suggests and re-study your lessons. After a while Marash tells you to take a look outside and takes the ship out of hyperspace. As the ship enters normal space, rather than the normal view you see a huge cloud of colorful clouds.
“What is that?” You ask in awe.
“It’s a nebula.” Marash says. “I figured you’d enjoy seeing it.”
“It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.” You say.
“They do have their dangers, though.” Marash continues. “It’s difficult for the scanners to pick up anything inside. However, going around it will ad an extra day to our journey and going through in hyperspace is dangerous.”
“So how do we get passed?” You ask.
“We scan as safe and deep as we can and make a short hyperspace jump.”
As soon as he says that Marash activates the hyperspace again, but runs it al low power so you don’t travel too fast. Soon after he takes it out again. Now you are inside the nebula. Almost reflexively you look all around yourself.
Now we scan as far as we can again, so the computer can plot a safe course. Then we more once more.”
Again, Marash puts the ship into a short hyperspace. Over and over he makes a safe short jump. It takes an hour, but eventually you make it past the nebula.
“And that is how we cut a day off our travels.” Marash says.
“Amazing.” Is all you can say. “Thank you for showing me.”
“Like I said. I figured you’d like it.”
“Hey, Marash.” You say. “I have a question.”
