Calling out "coming Cherie", you quickly give another command to Riley Riley you will not tell anyone what has happened here we will discuss this later when Cherie is not around and act like were just friends towards me for ok, "Yes Johnathan I will do that", she smiles kissing you lightly and putting her shoes back on to leave the room. Joining her downstairs at the dining table you pass the rest of the meal in pleasant conversation. After finishing you go to do the dishes as it is your turn, Cherie try's to stop you but you insist only relenting when you say "why don't you dry and I'll wash", smiling Cherie is acting a little lost these days as she picks up a plate and starts to dry it. The washing up goes quickly and you think now is a good time to see if touching someone through clothing will work.

Brushing up her side by accident you apologise and keep washing the same plate up ,then asking a question you know is normally a non descriptive answer " So Cherie why do you not go on dates now", Cherie looks at you and unfortunately gives the same answer as always "what time do I have to date sweetie I have to look after you two kids and keep up with all the work at the office", you give a fake but not fake smile and say the same thing you have been saying for the last few years when ever this question has come up, "its not long before we both will not be under you feet so maybe then you can re-join the dating market then".

Cherie looks at you and sighs saying you are correct both of you have grown up so fast it would have been nice for your farther to see were you are today. A small part of you understands now why she is acting like she is these days, Cherie is afraid of losing you and Riley like she did your father or even just not having you around as once you are gone just how often will she see you let alone Riley who has made no secret she wants her own place to be her own woman out from under her mothers shadow.
