Fi contacts Laron asking what is happening.

As Laron floated there, savoring her victory and glory, a small thing, probably some sort of lesser "person" she guessed, flew up to her, stopping by her ear. The robotic voice she heard next was one she knew quite well. "Faron, Dragon of Water, guardian of Faron Woods, why have you abandoned your post given to you by the Goddess, Hylia? Why have you killed Levias, and why do you proclaim yourself a Goddess?"

It took all her willpower to stop Laron from rolling her eyes. Fi was always so logical, so...boring. "Listen, you insignificant sword spirit, I am not Faron, I am Laron. Up until today, I was actually known...as Link." The shocked silence that followed was something Laron savored. It was so rare for the foolish sword spirit to actually shut its mouth. "After looking into that mirror, I was able to possess Faron. I found her body more powerful than I had thought, and with it I was able to kill and consume Ghirahim, and with his power I could do the same to Levias. The beings Hylia put in power have been too complacent, Fi, too idle. The world needs a proactive, powerful, gorgeous goddess, and that is me."
