Link seeks out and enters the Water Dragon's body.

Link knew Fi would be more than a little distressed about this, but he had a mission to accomplish. Muttering an apology that his sword spirit couldn't hear, Link flew through the walls of Skyloft, through the air, through the clouds, down to the Faron Woods. Remembering where to find the Water Dragon, he flew through the water and into her domain, and found the guardian of the area asleep in her bedroom. Perfect. Hoping this would work, he flew his incorporeal form straight into Faron's enormous, sleeping form. To his surprise, he blacked out.

The next thing Link remembered, he was waking up, yawning loudly. He rose up and stretched, only to notice that he had slept in some enormous, blue robe. And that his hands were large, covered in blue scales, and had sharp claws. Moving his hands over his new, taken body, Link realized his plan had worked. He was now in the body of Faron, the water dragon. Now that he thought about it, though, how was he supposed to know what her part of the song was? Immediately, the notes to the song appeared in his head, the melody seeming achingly familiar. So, he had access to her memories as well. Link took a few minutes to try and memorize the song, then tried to exit her body. Which failed. Shocked, Link shouted out, "What?!" much louder than he would normally have wanted.

Without notice, several dozen Parella swam into the room through channels of water in the ground, shrieking in surprise and fear that their mistress may be in danger. Putting on a regal facade, Link told them all that there was nothing to worry about, and that they could return to whatever they were doing before. They all sung his, or rather, Faron's praises as they left, and as they did Link's ego swelled with their words. Being treated like a god, it turned out, was very rewarding. Now, what to do next...
