Link is able to control and inhabit both bodies with his consciousness simultaneously.

Then, all of a sudden, something just clicked. Link saw the world from two separate perspectives, felt two different bodies, in two different places. He could see himself from two different angles, and he knew, instinctively, that both of them were him. Curious, Link moved the newer body forward a few feet, then raised one of his four arms. He watched from both angles as it happened, felt it happen. All four of his eyes widened. He was two people now, it two places, at the same time. He could use this for finding a way to fix himself, cover double the ground. He could try going after the next part of the song twice as fast, able to solve tasks twice as quickly. Or...from somewhere deep in his mind, a voice whispered..."you could try getting bigger, making more"...
