Link saves up for the fashionable clothes.

After a few moments of consideration, Link decided to save up for the fashionable, casual clothes. After all, he was so sure he'd look cute in them! Realizing that his shift was starting soon, Link left the market and headed to the tavern, where he now worked. It was...a little much. The place smelled like strong drink, greasy foods, and other, more sexual things. It made him blush to even be in there, and it was difficult for Link to take his eyes off that floor, unable to look up at the people around him.

"You're the new girl, right?" asked a gruff voice.

Link timidly lifted his head to see a large, old, grizzled man, his boss he supposed. "Yeh-yes sir," he said, his voice coming out high and with a rural accent. "I just moved here myself, y'see, and I always wanted to work at a place like this, sir."

That seemed to make him happy, while actually made Link happy as well. "That's good to hear! Now, for your first night, all I'll have you do is walk out food and drinks to customers, okay?" That sounded easy, so Link nodded enthusiastically. And for the next seven hours, that was exactly what Link did. To his surprise, the plates of food actually felt too heavy for him at times, letting him know that he definitely needed to train this body up more if he wanted to stand a chance against his target. His night was also made memorable by the onslaught of bad pick-up lines, wolf-whistles, and groping he had to endure. At first, all he could think about was stopping himself from killing them for the act, but by the end of his shift Link actually started to find the attention...endearing. It was nice that they thought he was pretty, wasn't it?

After his shift was over, he said goodnight to his boss and went home, falling asleep easily. In the morning...
