Link alone.

It took a few days for Zelda to get all of the key components needed for the ritual spell. Once she had them all, Zelda and Link met up in the castle's basement, and the princess made sure that the castle staff was under orders not to go down there for anything except a dire emergency. Once they found a large enough room, Link watched as Zelda drew a circle on the ground with chalk, and then formed an odd symbol on the circle, one that looked like an hourglass. At each of the four points where the hourglass symbol was contained within the circle, Zelda set down a magical reagent. A branch from an ancient tree, deep in the Faron Woods. A rock from the inside the volcanic mines of **** Mountain. A thermos of water collected from the deepest depths of Lake Hylia. And lastly, a stone from the original Hyrule Castle, one of the only surviving remnants of the ancient, lost landmark. Taking Zelda's cue, Link entered the circle and stood in the direct center, while Zelda chanted in what sounded like the same language Midna had spoken on occasion. Link could vaguely sense the magical power stirring in the air around him, and before he understood what was happening...
