Link told the Great Fairy that he would greatly appreciate the ability to breathe underwater.

This wish caused the Great Fairy to laugh uproariously, because basically everything makes them do that. "Alright, hero, enjoy your wish! I've even added in some bonuses..." She blew him a kiss, winked, then all of a sudden Link's world went blank.

He wasn't sure exactly how long he was ****, but when he woke up he was lying on a field. His body felt odd, well, odder than it had so far. He pushed against the ground to get to his feet, but stopped when his hands came into his line-of-sight. His hands were small, feminine, and blue. Finishing the maneuver, Link looked down and saw a very feminine body, one with large breasts covered up by large scales, wide hips, and a flat crotch. It was much more developed than it had been when he last saw it, but this was definitely the body of Princess Ruto, of the Zoras. Which meant, Link realized, that he could now breathe underwater, what with him being in her body and all. Did that mean she was in his body? Link felt his feminine face heat up in a blush. If she was, what was she going to do? After all, the last time he saw her, she had been in love with him! Link looked around and realized he was at Lake Hylia, and he could see what looked like the Water Temple down below him.
