Make a nest.

When Link awoke the next day, an immediate thought, one quite different from the ones her mind normally had, firmly planted itself in the foreground: You are not safe. It was true, sleeping on the side of the road to **** Mountain, regardless of how many Tektites she'd eaten, was dangerous. For a moment Link considered finding a safe place near the road, but something told her that was a bad idea. Too hot, too rocky. Kakariko. It was still early morning, so Link didn't have any issues sneaking into the village, and remembered a particular house that was free from humans: Dampe's. Once Link was inside, she felt momentarily better, but then a new thought attacked her: Build a nest, build a safe home.

At first Link wasn't sure how she was supposed to do that, but then she felt something in her abdomen and knew what to do. From a small hole at the tail end of her spider body, Link felt herself begin to excrete a thick, white thread, like a normal spider's thread except as thick as rope. Link knew instinctively that she could touch it without it sticking to her, and began applying it to the walls, then started building cross cutting threads that would leave enough room for her to move around but make it easy to trap any human intruders. When Link was done, the inside of the small home was covered in white thread and full of traps. Perfect.
