Chapter 3
by Gentlemen8p
Does she mange to navigate the crowd and in-which direction will she go?
Yes and bumps into a friendly face
Clutching the strap of her bag with both her hands, the young women remained a statue, too nervous to move. Iris stole several glances, which quickly became the topic of conversations and finally laughter. It hadn’t even been five minutes and she was already picturing herself trying to fight her way back into her father’s car before kicking him out and driving off. Unfortunately for Iris that option was longer available, looking over her shoulder to see the vacant space where said car use to be. “That bastard!”
Freeing one hand from her bag the girl allowed it to hang freely as she looked on pathetically into the distance whilst she was swarmed by a sea of white uniforms. A simple nudge of a student’s arm was all that was needed to make Iris flinch and bring her back to her senses. “Fuck it.” She muttered a curse to herself before taking a hold of her hood and pulling it over her head.
The young woman attempted to navigate the ocean of entitlement only speaking to apologise when she bumped into another person. This went on for a while until she found herself in the centre of the crowd. To her left the exit, Iris already thought how she could hitch a ride or how easy it would be to steal one of those luxurious cars, then she quickly shivered her father’s nurture had rubbed off on the daughter it seemed. To her right was the main entrance of the school, being used as a funnel for the horde of students passing through it. The choice was easy for Iris.
Iris’s feet took a sharp turn left, as the easier of the two option stole her away. Her pace quickened, the closer she got to the exit of the coward the more she could breathe. Determined on getting herself out of the situation she found herself lost deep in thought, she didn't even seem to notice the people around anyone, before the young woman knew it, she found herself colliding into someone.
The girl’s arm brushed off Iris’s delicate shoulder however it didn’t stop her from flinching the moment the two girls touched. Iris turned to whom she had just bumped into only to see a surprised girl stumbling backwards trying to regain her balance.
“H-hey watched out!”Iris bark a warning only frightening the girl further as she completely failed to maintain her footing. Without thinking Iris threw an arm out, her long sleeve failed with her arm and fortunately, the other girl caught onto the piece of clothing but unfortunately, she dragged Iris down along with her.
Iris’s senses were bombarded with the scent of an expensive perfume of which flower she couldn’t even begin to guess, yet the smell very familiar. Slightly moving her head she felt the tip of her nose race across something both warm and smooth before she heard a soft cry and opened her eyes.
She found herself facing the payment atop the young women. The pair’s bodies uncomfortable pressing against one another, judging from the position this wasn’t the most flattering display to be in. Allowing a sigh pass her lips, wasn’t the brightest ideas as her warm breath struck the girl’s soft neck and **** another soft cry from their lips. Not wanting to make this even weirder Iris calmly pulled her head back before shifting her weight, pressing her hand down against the girl’s shoulder lifting herself up.
As she looked a ping of jealousy crept back into Iris heart, they were around the same age but she couldn’t compare herself to the girl she held underneath her, she was perfect to the point it sickened Iris, from her red curls plastered against the grey pavement to the makeup that brought out her fierce green eyes. Yet what pissed Iris more than anything was the girl’s gentle face, she wouldn’t have to worry about being called ‘ugly’ or ‘scary’ if she was born with a face like hers.
“What’s wrong with you why are you giving me that look?” Iris asked as she noticed the girl holding back an expression of pain, Iris eyes lingered to her hand pressing down on the girl’s shoulder. “Sorry… I didn’t mean to…” However she couldn’t finish her words before she was yanked back by her hoodie, her raven locks spilling out from it.
“Get off my sister you creep!” The whiny voice managed to reach Iris’s ear before she turned to meet the fist that wound strike her face.
Who hit Iris?
