"I think we should get the lady home. Drive on."

The driver continues on to Syndie's house, amid Syndie's feeble protests.

"But we should have checked it out," she was saying.

"But what if it was dangerous? Aren't you scared?" you ask.

"Well, it was a little scary. I don't know how I'll sleep alone in that apartment tonite."

You settle onto the couch in the living room and Syndie sits next to you. You notice that she is trembling a bit and you put your arm around her.
