The wolves set forth, the Batman arrives.
Returning to the batcave at the edge of the city limits, Bruce and Kara stopped at the entrance of the cave to find they had arrived just in time to see everyone transform, the effects of the full moon in its full potency. The ‘youngest’ of the lycanthropes cried out, completely taken by surprise by the semi-painful experience. Several men and woman collapsed to their hands and knees, crying out as their faces pushed forward, their noses and upper lips merging while their skulls lengthened, thick fur spread out across their bodies as corded muscles throbbed to life, growing bigger and stronger. For the older lycanthropes, the change was a dull ache. Jason remained standing as he hunched over, gritting his fanged teeth as he rapidly outgrew his cloths and boots, surging up and out with muscle and fur until he was almost 9 feet tall. Harley chuckled like a hyena, wringing her hands together as she outgrew the spare clothes in storage, snow white fur creeping down her toned, athletic physique as she grew taller and stronger, her hands and feet becoming clawed with a long bushing white tail sprouting behind her.
The spiders fell to their hands and knees, their legs cricking and changing as additional limbs sprouted from their hips. Barbara and Helena cried out from the pain as their mouths changing form, splitting open into mandibles and fangs while growing additional eyes. The serpents fared no better as they fell to the ground, their legs merging and lengthening into a long sinuous tail that destroyed their pants, smooth almost metallic scales creeping down their flesh.
As one the pack of lycanthropes howled, hissed and screeched up in the air, the rush of their changes finally ebbing down. Even Bruce and Kara found themselves joining in without realising it. “Music to my ears, love.” Husked Aloe Vera, padding her way through the pack of wolves to join Bruce at the cave’s entrance, the black wolf pulling the red wolfess close and kissing her deeply, receiving cheers and yelps from the pack before they separated. Kara winked back at the red wolfess and padded away on all sizes to the far end of the cave, eager to see her cubs again.
“TONIGHT, IS THE FULL MOON.” Called out Bruce to the pack, getting their attention as they looked to their alpha. “RIGHT NOW, THERE ARE OTHER WOLVES PROWLING THE CITY, MINDLESS, SAVAGE, DEADLY, THEY MUST BE BROUGHT BACK AND SAVED IF WE ARE TO SAVE THE CITY.”
Getting nods of agreement from the rest of the lycanthropes, Bruce kept Aloe Vera close, her head nuzzling his chest even as Harley Quinn moved up to take Bruce’s other side. “BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY WE ARE GOING TO TAKE OUR CITY BACK FROM THE UNDEAD WHO THREATEN IT, SOME OF YOU WON’T SURVIVE, BUT IF WE DO NOTHING, THIS CITY IS DEAD… THEN THE NEXT, AND THE NEXT.”
Seeing the wolves look at each other in trepidation, no one said a word until Harley called out. “Come on! Just stand and fight, you bunch of pussies!”
Getting a riotous cheer from the pack of wolves, spiders and serpents, Harley looked up to the frowning snout of Bruce and shrugged her shoulders with a smirk. Pulled in close, Harley squealed when she felt his clawed hand grope at her rear and pull her up for a kiss, before the alpha wolf stomped off to go deep into the cave and prepare.
“Hmm… the man can kiss like he can melt diamonds!” Cooed Harley, looked back at the retreating wolf’s back side before she joined Pamela, hugging the red wolfess close. “So where are we going again?”
Rolling her eyes, Pamela joined the rest of the pack as they all went to the air transports, the thrum of jet engines filling the cave as they hovered overhead. When they were just about to join the others, Pamela and Harley were shocked to find Bruce return… Human and dressed in his costume, checking his gloves to fit and check his equipment. Pressing a button on his gauntlet, Bruce stood at the center of the cave, surprising everyone at his current state.
“My love! You’re human, during the full moon!”
“Yes, I am.” Looking to the two giant wolves surprised at his state, he looked over to the others who were equally surprised of his new control. The roar from a jet engine from the cave’s entrance declared the arrival of the Batmobile, the massive black vehicle stopping just inches from the man’s feet and revving down.
“But why my love? Why not lead as the wolf?”
“Because Gotham needs to know its ME that’s going to save them, not the wolf.” Pulling his cowl and mask over his face, Batman walked over to the side of the vehicle, the cockpit opening automatically from his presence and jumping into the driver’s seat. The canopy closing with a his of air just as the engine roared back to life. With a squeal of tires on the stone floor, the Batmobile made a sharp turn and shot out of the cave like a cannon ball, the rest of the fleet of batwings following suite as they flew off to head into Gotham, heading towards the Gothic Spire now looming over the city. Swerving down the freeway towards the city, Batman looked up to find the castle billow with a ring of wispy shapes, followed by a massive creature flying around the structure like a buzzard circling a corpse.
At that moment he saw it in the night sky against the dark clouds, the beam of light showing the bat signal over the castle proper.

From the watch tower, the Justice League watched with bated breath as they looked down at Gotham city, the city cut off with a fiery circle and nearly enveloped with storm clouds, and worse. Then they spotted the tiny yellow light of the bat signal through the storm clouds.
“I can’ just stand here…” Sighed Superman, looking to the others who all agreed with the man. But then he noticed something when he looked back to the League. Diana was missing. Looking back out towards Earth, Superman could see the Javelin fly down towards the atmosphere, heading towards Gotham.
