A chat in the ladies

Mercifully the glamorous women's toilets were empty. Sarah finally let go of Jo once they were inside and she turned to face her and leant against the sinks. Somehow she wasn't distressed but a little concerned over how this was going to play out. She looked straight at Jo as Jo straightened herself out and bit her lip guiltily.

"What the fuck Sarah? What's going on?"

"It's a little complicated"

"Complicated? You can say that again. Why are you here with him? Are you having an affair?"

Sarah winced slightly at the accusation and shrugged "Kind of?"

Jo looked gobsmacked and she staggered slightly and leaned against the wall between stalls "Oh my god. I never thought... I thought you and Tom were like the perfect couple, you've been together the whole time I've known you."

Sarah could see that Jo wasn't taking it well so she decided to be honest. She stood up and went over to reassure her friend. "We are. It's not quite like it looks."

Jo was still worked up she was always so dramatic "What does that even mean are you cheating on Tom or not?"

"Ugh you're really going to make me get into it aren't you? I'm cheating on Tom," Jo continued to react to that statement "but he wants me to." She let those words hang in the air for a moment but Jo just looked confused. Sarah sighed took her friend by the shoulders and said "It's a sex thing. Tom gets off on the idea of me sleeping with other men. Jim was chatting me up and we decided I should let him. He invited me here, bought me this beautiful dress all in an attempt to get in my knickers and I think I'd quite like him to."

Jo looked blankly at her for a moment before she broke into a laugh "What the fuck? That is the craziest thing I've ever heard."

Sarah joined her laugh "I know. If you'd have told me I'd have been in this situation a few month ago I wouldn't have believed you."

Jo relaxed and moved over to the mirror to check her makeup "I'm kind of glad that you guys are okay. So many of our old friends seem to be breaking up or in loveless marriages but this is a hell of a way to keep things fresh. Is he seeing anyone? Is it like a group thing?"

"No, it's just me and that's the whole thing."

"Really?"

"I know, I didn't get it at first but he talked me through it and into it and here we are."

"So you can sleep with anyone you like whenever you like and he's cool with it"

"Not quite. We need to discuss it, at least I think we do."

Jo gave her a questioning look "So you chose Jim Becket."

Sarah blushed "Well he was an easy choice because he was already coming on to me and he's pretty hot and actually he's pretty charming when he turns it on."

"God I know."

It was Sarah's turn to look surprised, she laughed "What was that?"

"He's a total fucking babe. He tried it on with me once and I came so close to ruining my marriage. It's only when I realised he was more interested in fucking with Phil than actually sleeping with me that I stopped myself. I wouldn't worry though in your case he's totally just into you, you lucky bitch."

Tom smiled at Jo's filthy language. She always put on a show with others but this was the girl she had first made friends with. She had formerly been an absolute slut so it wasn't totally surprising to hear she had been tempted but as she had said, out of all their friends Jo and her had the strongest marriages.

Jo slammed the sink and said "Shit!"

Sarah flinched "What?"

"You totally ruined my favourite jilling fantasy. Now every time I think about Jim drilling into me I'm going to be thinking about you. If you think you are getting away without telling me everything afterwards then you are sorely mistaken." She turned and gave Sarah a hug "I'm going to have to tell Phil you know or he'll be driving us to your house to dob you in to Tom if I don't"

"Okay, it's a bit embarrassing but I get it. Honestly it's nice to hear Tom has such a good friend."

"Speaking of Phil, we better get back or he might start something."

Sarah hugged Jo back "I think your right. Thanks for being so understanding. Lets do lunch."

"You're damn right we are doing lunch, come on."

They returned to find the two men stood awkwardly looking around and not talking to each other. Jim looked bored but Phil had his hands clenched by his side.

"Hey boys," called Jo and both men turned to face them. Phil looked thoroughly baffled by her attitude "sorry to make you wait but you know what we girls are like when we get talking. Sarah it was so lovely to see you and I look forward to our lunch date. Jim, it's a pleasure. Phil darling, I'm parched, buy me another drink please sweetie." She turned his shoulder unceremoniously and dragged him away

Sarah herd Phil saying "What the hells going on?" and Jo replying in a sing song voice "I'll tell you in a minuet but you are going to want that drink first."

Jim looked from the departing couple to Sarah "Is there going to be a problem?"

Sarah touched his face reassuringly and looked up at him "Not at all. Where to next?"
