"Just as long as you don't blow up any mor artifacts!" joked Tal as she waggled her finger at Wes.
Rehabilitation
“Are you sure you should be up and about like this?” asked a worried Rissa as she and Wes walked around the academy grounds. Wes couldn’t help but smile and laugh a little at Rissa’s worrying nature.
“You worry too much! I’m fine!” Wes said as he attempted to perform a pose, which caused him to wince in pain.
“See! You should be back in your room, resting!” Rissa urged as she tugged at Wes’ arm towards the student dormitory. Wes used his superior strength to instead pull her with him as he continued their walk.
“No, not quite yet. Let’s continue this walk,” he said as Rissa reluctantly gave up her struggle and moved back to Wes’ side.
“Ok, fine. We’ll continue our walk. It’s the least I can do,” she said as she looked away from Wes. Wes let out a sigh as he was about to have the same conversation for the umpteenth time.
“As I’ve been telling you since your first visit of me in the hospital, this is not your fault.”
“Yes it is!”
“No. It’s not,” Wes said with a firm tone. He really wanted to get through to the Sith girl this time.
“Yes it is! I was the one you were protecting during training! I was the reason why Harkun gave you that job by yourself! To punish you for protecting me! And because of that you got-”
“ENOUGH!” roared Wes, silencing Rissa in an instant. “I’ve told you many times before and I’ll say it now, for the last time: The choices I made were my own. The consequences were within what I thought would happen. I could have just as easily let Harkun do whatever with you, but the Force told me to help you, so I did. Now, stop blaming yourself,” Wes said, his eyes locked with hers. He spoke with a commanding tone that Rissa couldn’t help but silently listen to. When he was done speaking, Rissa spoke no words, rather, she simply nodded her head in acceptance.
“Good, now that that is out of the way, let us continue our walk,” Wes said with a smile on his face. Rissa returned a sheepish smile and continued on with their walk. The two continued their walk around the academy grounds and eventually found their way to the landing pad for Sith Lords.
“Just think, in a few months, we’ll be lined up here to be inspected like cattle for various Sith Lords. All in a vain attempt to have them pick us as their apprentice,” Rissa said as the two watched a shuttle land and a Sith Lord make his way from his ship and to the platform. The man was more machine than man as over half his chest and face were mechanical and with the clanking noise he made whenever he took a step made it clear a leg was also artificial.
“I don’t know why anyone would choose to become such an abomination,” Rissa remarked as she watched the Sith Lord make his way through the doors to an adjacent room.
“Why do you say that?” Wes asked, curious as to why she would say such a thing.
“Oh come on, you know why!” remarked Rissa as she looked at Wes. “The Force is strong in living things, not machines! That Sith, if you can even still call him that, has lost most of his connection to the Force. The very thing that makes us Sith!” she explained while Wes quietly listened to her reasoning. “So that’s why I don’t like him. He’s not connected to the Force, not anymore!” Wes was quiet for a moment as he took in what the human girl had said to him.
“I see your reasoning, but I disagree,” Wes started. “He still has a connection to the Force. While it may not be as strong as it once was, it is still there. With all those cybernetic enhancements, I’m willing to bet his saber skills are top notch. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was always better with his lightsaber than Force skills. Perhaps that’s why he does not mind all the cybernetic enhancements. He only needs a connection to the Force to increase his natural abilities and less, say, summon a Force Storm to wipe out a group of enemies,” concluded Wes. Rissa was silent as this was her turn to contemplate what was told to her.
“I can see your reasoning,” she concluded. “I may have been a bit too drastic on my judgments. But I suppose that is because I am quite strongly connected to the Force,” admitted the Sith acolyte. “So when I see Force users who have mutil...I mean augmented their bodies like that, I can almost feel the pain of the Force.”
Wes was surprised that Rissa was being so honest about how she felt with him. He could not deny that there was a certain attraction to this girl. Her shoulder length blonde hair was in a rather cute set of twintails. Her C Cup breasts threatened to pop out of her low cut turtleneck she wore. Wes couldn’t help but steal a glance at her wonderful mounds when she wasn’t looking. He could make out what appeared to be a red bra. There was a possibility of lace on it, but Wes couldn’t be sure without removing her turtleneck first. Rissa’s skin tight pants worked wonders for her plump ass. And thanks to no noticeable lines, Wes couldn’t help but think she either wore a thong or was going commando. Her beautiful blue eyes were always a pleasure to stare into, which he had done a lot today as they spent more and more time together.
Now now, Wes, be careful. Sith are dangerous to get into any relationship with. Even casual relationships can end with a lightsaber in your back. Let’s take this slow, and see where it leads. She could be another potential ally to have, especially if we form an emotional bond with me.
“Hello? Korriban to Wes, do you come in?” asked Rissa for 5th time, finally snapping Wes out of his deep thoughts.
“Uh, what? Sorry!” Wes said as he gave out a nervous laugh.
“It’s ok!” Rissa said with a laugh. “You just seemed to be lost in some deep thoughts,” she said as she looked into his eyes. Wes couldn’t help himself as he leaned in while his hand grabbed the back of Rissa’s head. Their lips connected and the two shared a mutually passionate kiss.
"Let's find someplace more...private," suggested Rissa as she grabbed Wes' hand and lead him away.
