Lily and her date

Ryan hurriedly zipped up his pants and was refastening his belt as two figures approached the limo's door. Mackenzie adjusted her hair and plastered a smile on her face, hoping that Ryan had been able to finish zipping up in time.

A slim blonde girl entered the limo, and cheerfully said "Hi Mackenzie! Hi Ryan!" This was Mackenzie's friend Lily, and she was dressed in a stunning purple prom dress. She was a smart girl, if a bit naive and clumsy at times, and extremely dependable, Mackenzie had found. She was accompanied by her boyfriend Garret, who was the complete opposite of Lily physically. He was an impressive 6'2" and had a stocky build, in contrast to the petite and slender Lily. They had been dating for most of senior year by this point. And despite his stoic and somewhat intimidating presence, Lily had confided in Mackenzie that he was a gentle soul. He greeted the duo with just a solemn nod before sitting next to Lily.

Mackenzie gave a sigh of relief that Lily had been the first one they picked up. Even if she had spotted Ryan hurriedly buckling his pants, she would probably never even presume anything inappropriate had been going on. Unlike her other friend Amy, who had one of the dirtiest minds Mackenzie had ever known.

The two girls began talking excitedly about the night ahead of them as the limo drove on to the next destination.
