Chapter 6 by ThomasMoro

What happens next?

Brooke goes home

After an uneventful time at the local coffee shop, Brooke Thompson admitted that she had a headache and left Montana to go back to her tiny (by LA standards) apartment on the bad side of town.

No sooner than she had walked in the door of her place when she heard a window open.

"Who's there?" she asked as she entered her kitchen.

Suddenly she saw a dark-haired Hispanic man dressed in black leather standing before her.

"Who are you?" Brooke asked.

"I am Richard Ramirez, the Night Stripper," said the Hispanic man. "My master Satan had sent me on a mission to strip all the naughty girls of the world and then see to it that they wear nothing more than the garb of Eve."

"Well, I don't know any Eve," said Brooke, "so I don't see why I would want to wear her garb anyway. And besides, I'm not really naughty."

"Oh, yes, you are," said Ramirez. "No girl is truly innocent in the eyes of Satan. And by 'garb of Eve', I meant your birthday suit."

"But I didn't wear a suit on my birthday," said Brooke. "I wore a dress."

"Gee, you really are dim," said Ramirez. "You really do deserve more than a good stripping, Brooke."

"Hey, how do you know my name?" asked Brooke. "And who are you to talk - -confronting an innocent girl in her own kitchen?"

Ramirez pulled out a knife. "I'm warning you," he said. "Now you can either undress right now or else I'll be **** to -- Hey!"

Brooke had reached out and hit Ramirez with the first thing she could find -- in this case, a frying pan.

When Ramirez came toward her again, she hit him again. And again. And again.

"You're not even going to unbutton one button?" asked Ramirez. "What a spoilsport!"

Brooke hit him again. And then fled the apartment.

An half-hour later, she was talking to Montana in an all-night coffee shop and telling her her story.

"I don't dare go back to my place," said Brooke. "And I'm not sure what good it would do to call the cops. I mean, they have been looking for this guy for months. Suppose he really is in league with Satan?"

"I really doubt that," said Montana. "But, hey, here's an idea. My friends and I have a gig as camp counselors at Camp Morningwood. Perhaps you can come with us when we leave tomorrow morning. That way you'll be away from the city and that creepy Night Stripper won't be able to find you."

"That's nice of you, Montana," said Brooke. "But I really don't want to be a nuisance."

"Oh, you wouldn't be a nuisance," said Montana. "In fact, I think you'd enjoy the trip. So much so that you'd never want to take another one. So what else did Rich -- er -- this Ramirez character say?"
