I'm Tired Mom, Think I'll Lay Down With You ...

Erik lives under the roof of his loving mother, Laura, in their 2 bedroom apartment. The area they live in is nice with very little crime, similar to a central american suburban neighborhood. Erik just graduated high school and will be taking a year off before starting college. Everything seems to be normal in the life of this average young man, but is about to change entirely. Laura is not whom he thinks she is. She is hiding a big secret from the world which she has very little control over. This secret is sure to come out and eventually take it's role in Erik's life. Erik is on his way home from his last class of school. He is very excited to start working and making his own money. Sitting on the bus he begins to plan out his next summer and what kind of career he wants to take. This will all have to wait since the bus has just arrived at his stop just outside of the apartment complex he lives in. He and a few other former students exit the bus and are all talking about their plans while he continues to walk home ready to lay down in his bed and relax for a while... The story starts with Erik arriving home.
