You are dismissed and escorted to your room

After all the arrangements are made, you are promptly dismissed and are escorted to your room at one of the islands more modest hotels. Kala stays at the palace at the behest of her mother, but promises to check in on you when she can.

When you arrive, you find that your room isn't huge, but is still much bigger than the tiny cabin you were made to sleep in on the Rusty Rose, the fishing trawler that up until last night you had crewed upon.

The bed is a comfortable queen size and comes with an empty foot locker to keep your meager belongings in. There is even a desk complete with a computer monitor that appears to be connected to the local island intranet. A flashing notification above the mail icon catches your attention.
