The issues.

Damien stood after the ‘boss’ had left the room and made his way to the living room where he saw the boss talking to Victoria.

She was holding her cellphone with the face to the boss.

“My, my, what an attractive family Damien. I do believe I’d like to ‘meat’ your mother as well! Maybe while Victoria is there? That sounds delightful! Set it up Damien!”

Victoria had narrowed her eyes at the boss. She wasn’t oblivious and she wasn’t stupid. She also knew that refusing to show the boss a picture of their family would have made Damien’s life harder. His respect for her grew daily.

“Goodbye Damien! I hope to hear from you soon!”

The boss walked out of the house with his bodyguard while Jack watched them leave.

Victoria turned her narrowed gaze to Damien.

“What the fuck did I walk into?”

“Not sure yet. Still evaluating.”

Victoria sighed.

“Listen. Mom got fired from work. Apparently she had started to wear more risqué clothes to work after our..umm.. family meeting, and her boss took it to his head thinking she fancied the fat fuck. Long story short, he tried to have his way with her and when she fought back, fired her on the spot. It seems we have a money flow problem now. Plus mom is upset.”

Damien sighed. One thing at a time.

“Alright. First things first. I have an issue that I need your help with, and you aren’t going to like it...”

She didn’t like it. Not at all.
