Luckily, relatively well.

While James had gone off to work, Sally had already picked out and prepared several foods and programs used to teach children how to speak. She had to step in to help Aurora with how to move her lips fairly frequently, but she learned quickly. Though, there were several moments that Sally had to use the colors on her phone to not be seen as a threat, but less than she thought.

The only troublesome part was curbing her enthusiasm. Every time she got overly excited, Aurora would react like she'd been threatened. That, and the odd lavender shade she would have when she looked at the door or the clock, comparing it to the symbols on the picture.

Together, they had found that Aurora like mushrooms quite a lot. She'd eaten most of the pound that Sally had brought over. She refused to eat actual meat, it took several hours before she would even acknowledge Sally's existence again when she'd tried to feed Aurora fish.

Once James got home, she perked up before the door had even opened. James came inside to find Aurora visibly excited, and Sally giving him a playful look.

"Well, she definitely likes you. She's been mad at me for the last three hours, all sulky and in her corner of the couch.", she stood to give him a hug.

"Why's that? Pick a bad video?", he asked while glancing at the t.v. She'd put on some slow instructional of the alphabet.

Sally shook her head, "No I...wasn't thinking. I tried to see if she liked fish."

"Jesus, Sal...that's like trying to feed someone a monkey."

"Yeah, I figured out it was a bad idea after she tossed it in my face and stormed into your room for the first couple hours after...sorry."

"Well, maybe some of what I have will cheer her up.", James said while emptying a grocery bag onto the countertop.

Much of it turned out to be clothing. Sally smiled, "Awesome. Now if she'll wear that, I don't have to keep trying not to stare at her tits all day..." James cocked an eyebrow at her. "What? They're purple don't tell me that alone isn't distracting." James nodded and grabbed a bright green sweat shirt and a pair of black sweat pants. When he presented them, Aurora took her time giggling and feeling the fabric.

When James helped her learn how to wear it, she laughed out loud. He shrugged at his sister's confused face. "She did that with the carpet, too. I think it tickles."

Sally had been digging through the rest of what he'd brought, finding blueberries and chocolate beneath the few shirts and pants. She brought the chocolate straight over. "I hope it's alright if I give her this...I...kinda don't wanna end the day on her bad side..."

James shrugged. "Sure. I hope she likes it."

"She's a woman, Jamie. No woman from any planet could dislike chocolate.", she declared confidently. When she broke off a piece and held it out, Aurora looked at James and flashed blue twice. His jacket lit up blue on the arms in return. "Ooh. Good one, Jamie. I like it...might have to make you do one for me."

While Aurora nibbled at her chocolate, James went over where to get what for Sally to have a similar jacket. While he payed her for the day, neither of them saw Aurora eat the rest of the chocolate bar.

While they were saying goodbye, Aurora suddenly lit up bright lavender. While James and Sally hugged goodbye, Sally stopped.

"Uhhh, James? She's...glowing purple."

James turned around just in time to see Aurora's state, she was panting and staring at them both with a fiery intensity. Her nipples peaked out, and drops of thick pink fluid dripped out.

James moved closer, with Sally following close behind. He spoke first, trying to reach out to feel her forehead. "Maybe she's sick? She's warm..."

"Oh, God James what if it's like dogs and chocolate kills her."

He shot an irritated look at her over his shoulder. When he looked back, Aurora had already wrapped her hands around each of their heads and forcefully began pulling them to her chest. Even trying to move away, she still rubbed the pink leakage into their lips. Their world started to haze, and she dragged them both to another room in the house.
