Discuss the Resort with Alexander

“I’m home!” called Alexander to Rhonda.

“Welcome back sweetheart!” she called out to him. Her heart sank into her stomach. She was terrified to ask Alexander about what she had been feeling. She knew she had to explain it to him in a way that wouldn’t break his caring heart, for she knew he was a man of frail pride. She had to think of a way to bring how she felt up without damaging him more and without making it seem like a slight at his sexual capabilities. “Alex dear, I have an idea for our vacation this year that I’ve been thinking over.”

“Oh? Really? I thought we were saving?” asked Alexander, a little confused that she would bring this up now. He thought they were saving up to have children, so splurging on anything big during vacation season would defeat that purpose.

Rhonda thought that perhaps she could pass this place off as a resort of some sort. “Well, we can't just focus on that otherwise we'd be wrecked.” she said, knowing exactly what her husband was getting at. “I think we need a break, and I know of the perfect place, it’s called Intertwine.”

“Intertwine?” he asked.

Rhonda knew she had to be frank about certain aspects of the place, because Alexander wasn’t dumb, just naive, and he would notice right away a lot of what was going on. She proceeded to explain that the Intertwine was a place of sexual exploration for couples and for people who are single but have the desire to traverse new territories of their bedroom activities. Alexander immediately seemed to withdraw from the conversation. “I don’t know if that sounds like a place for me, sweetheart,” he told her. “I mean, I thought our sex life together has been great for the last several months. Don’t you think so?”

Rhonda knew this would be hard. She knew Alexander had been working hard to improve his oral and he even gave up his anal virginity to her while role-playing as a sexy little maid. He was embarrassed about it but it was something he still thought about a lot as one of the sexiest things he had ever done. Rhonda proceeded to explain to Alexander that this could give him a chance to discover something about himself since he had always been so reserved about self-exploration. He may find out he liked things he never would have even considered before. None of this actually worked on fooling Alexander. He looked at her after hearing her long and drawn out over-explanation and spilling of intimate knowledge about this place. All that could be summed up from what he heard out of her was one very simple question. “Rhonda, are you unhappy with our sex life?” he asked plainly. He did his best to sound calm though internally he was freaking out beyond belief. That self-control started to crack as he whimpered a little standing before her. “Are you?”

Rhonda immediately became flustered as she scrambled to save face. “No! No, it is not that at all Alex!” she exclaimed. “I just really thought that this could be a great experience for us to go through together. I mean, we have been having a lot more sex since I’ve gotten better and we’ve wanted to try for a baby, but I mean, consider it a quality of life upgrade. An educational experience even?”

Alexander raised a brow. He didn’t know how to properly react to all of this happening. He started speaking almost without thinking at first. “What am I supposed to make of this, dear?” he asked. “The idea of this place makes it sound like you’d just be sleeping around with a bunch of other guys, and it’s not meant for us to just go have sex. We can do that right here in our own bed for free.”

Rhonda sighed in defeat. She knew she shouldn’t have even said anything, much less tried to pull one over Alexander’s eyes. Her heart broke as she saw that he looked like he wanted to cry. His feelings were clearly hurt, as he took it every way she didn’t want him to take it, even though, in a way, it was how she meant it. She reached out and grasped his hands into hers. “Honey, no man on earth could ever replace you,” she said to him as she looked dead into his eyes. “You stuck with me through my darkest moments. You helped bring me out of that dark place and back to where I am now. You saved my life. You also gave me the most memorable proposal, one I couldn’t and wouldn’t want to change for the world. Because it was all you. It was just you being you and that is perfect to me.”

“But, Rhonda, this place…” Alexander started. “You kind of make it sound like some fancy high brow sex club. It’s just… it’s not…”

“It was just something I wanted us to do together,” Rhonda said. “I thought it might be fun. It was somewhere I’ve gone before when I was younger and have fond memories of. I just wanted to share those memories with you, since its a part of my life you don’t know a lot about. I know it promotes the idea of being promiscuous, but its all in good fun and meant to be a consensual experience for the both of us. You know no matter what, my heart will always belong to you. That can never change.”

Alexander listened and understood where Rhonda was coming from. The issue is he remembered how his parents were. He remembered how promiscuous they were with other people and it ended up ruining their marriage. He was afraid if he said yes to this that he would be doomed to a similar fate, with rightful reasons. He wanted Rhonda to be happy and not disappointed in him for saying no. On the other hand, what if she spiraled back into a depression because she craved something he could not provide her and in turn denied her to have? He would never be able to forgive himself for that. He pondered hard as he looked at his hopeful and loving wife
