Let her sleep, or bring her to water?
Bring her to water
Carefully, James scooped her up by hooking his arms beneath her knees and under her neck. It took some care not to wake her, and for just a moment he saw her eyes open as he lowered her into the tub. Deeper blue spots appeared along her body, and several lavender spots on her cheekbones. He started to leave, and heard a low chattering sound from behind. When he turned around, she had her eyes half-open and one palm stretched out. The spots around her arms turned green, and she gave something close to a smile with no teeth. He came over to try and figure out what she was after, and she tugged his arm towards the water.
"You want me...in there?", he asked while pointing where appropriate. She tugged again. He gently slipped himself out of her grasp, watching the spots shift to a dull grey. That and the sad look on her face crumbled the hesitation he had. He willed himself to strip and set his phone safely on the computer desk in his bedroom before sliding into the tub. The grey spots on her skin turned bright blue when he did, and he couldn't help blushing when she snuggled up to his side. Why this all of a sudden? He didn't know, but for some reason he didn't find himself complaining. In what felt like minutes, he managed to sleep.
How does the morning go?
