Washing out the day's excesses

Tempting fate, Alex tiptoed straight through the house. It had been a long, hot and inevitably-sticky day. She desperately wanted to feel cool, clean water against her skin, but heading for the bath was just asking for trouble. As Mom had just pointed out, the twins honed in on the sound of running water like a pair of trained hounds. So instead she headed out back… where the pool was beckoning. Perhaps if she slipped in quietly she could float around for a whole blissful hour or more before they even realised she was back…

It was so-far, so-good as the teen slid open the back door. She discarded her clothes straight to the floor, wrinkling her nose a little at the crusty splashes dotted across them. She couldn’t even remember who had caused half of those stains by now… just another day in highschool… Who knew how many classmates had brought themselves to climax over, in or around her shapely, young form? Today, or any other day, Alex was well aware that she was a symbol of everything society at large was supposed to salivate over. Fresh, fertile and friendly. Pick-up-and-fuckable. By all measures offered she should soon be vanishing into the social stratosphere. Lured in by some ambitious modelling agency and the ever-hungry porn studio goliaths who seemed to own everything from Hollywood to her favourite theme parks. Girls like her had every opportunity that others dreamed of… a thousand chances to fuck her way across the country and earn that oh-so-important first pregnancy before the year was out. The young miss Taylor could still feel the few slimy expulsions she’d collected today; from her three suitors or unknown strangers in the writhing mess of gym class. What if one of those was already the one which stuck? Despite all the odds against it… What if she woke up next week with a belly beginning to swell?

Di’s quietly, sad face reappeared in her mind. That last night she’d seen it. After all the rows and confidence had faded. Her older sister… her greatest hero… so visibly broken by not fitting into the world the way she’d thought she had to. Alex remembered being a cry-baby back then. Bursting into tears every time she was shut away from the dark mysteries of the adult world. But that night she hadn’t cried. She’d lain awake till dawn with eyes open… waiting for footsteps in the hall that would mean her sibling had returned… waiting… waiting…

The sound of voices shook the younger Miss Taylor back into right now. She had been lying on her back in the pool, floating out those old memories. A bustle in the house told her the twins had emerged, a sharp wolf-whistle splitting the air told her they weren’t the only ones present.

Phwit-weeooo! Hasn’t she grown! I can’t believe that’s still our little scraped-knees Alex!”

The voice was another blast from the past, so much so that the girl being nakedly admired couldn’t quite place it. She had to crane her neck to bring the gaggle of figures near the back door into focus. Her brothers were amongst the group alright, laughing and jostling as boys do when suddenly reunited with old friends. But the other two surely couldn't be…

Old friends
