William thought about asking is dad if they could join but he realized that he rarely gets to hang out with his father while he often sees his friends. This time he decided to make day about by with his mom and dad. Since his friend had not alter their to come near him, William just simply allowed them to continue on their path.

After some more catching a long with some missed catches, bad swings and funny jokes both William and his father rejoined William's mother for an afternoon picnic lunch. The father would talk about how they use to do this a lot when they were dating. The mother reminded William's father about how nerves he was on their first picnic and they both laughed about. William of course having not yet been born just remained silent and listened to their stories.

Nearing the end of their lunch William notice that his friends had gotten other kids to join up and were starting up a mini baseball game.

"You know son if you want to join them you can." His dad said. His mother added "We will be here relaxing under the shade."

Somewhat torn by the suggest, William now had to choose who he wanted to hang out with the remaining time at the park.
