Thyra, who runs into someone

Being careful not to cause too much noise each time that she moved her feet, Thyra slowly but surely passed over the broken ground of the arroyo, while keeping a close watch at the rocks and boulders in front of her.

She wasn’t entirely sure as to why she was following the trail, nor who it would lead her to. But that uncertainty and possible danger was part of the charm, and this dimension-journey was purely intended for fun anyway.

Another pair of minutes passed by, and Thyra pressed on, varying from watching the tracks and what was in front of her. When she came to a part where the old riverbed opened to be much wider than before, the tracks suddenly ended, and there were several rocks nearby that the person that she was stalking might have leaped on to.

If he or she had done so, that could imply that the stalked was being aware of the fact that someone was following behind.

This just got interesting, Thyra thought to herself.

“So, this is the little thing that’s been following me then?” A voice suddenly called out from behind Thyra.

Caught by surprise, Thyra’s body twitched before she spun round to face the person talking to her.
